my female quppy is acting rather strange?

I noticed a few days ago that she had a dark spot on her tummy and I did some research and I saw that it was a gravid spot, in other words she is pregnant, she could have been that way when i got her from pet store, she had a big belly when i got her. well now it looks like she is trying really hard to swim, but hardly moving, and it looks like she is panting. What is going on with my guppy????

also she aint her nightly meal last night, but she will not eat for anything this morning.


Physically she looks very healthy. Her scales aren't raised at all.

Check closely to see if her scales are "raised", if so then she likley has dropsy which can often make female guppies appear pregnant. Of course it is also a possibility that she is both pregnant and has dropsy, or other internal complications. However if her sclaes don't appear to be raised then she definitly doesnt have dropsy. If so just watch her closely until she gives birth and my guess would be that once she gives birth she should be normal again
