What is the best modern ultraportable laptop?

Hello, I currently own a Sony Vaio SZ ultraportable notebook, which is showing some age. It is a light, powerful laptop with an optical drive. I am currently looking to replace it with a modern product, preferably a PC, since I am used to them, and MAC OS drives me nuts. I am looking at the Vaio T and S, which are underwhelming to me. S has no touchscreen (bad for Win 8?) T has no graphics and seems to have a weak version of the intel i7 CPU.

What matters to me is: (in order)
1) Power (Performance, Speed)(No whimpy CPUs and other chips.)
2) Ergonomics (touch with win.8)(easy to use switches, keys)
3) Reliability (nothing breaks please, high quality, no bad parts)
4) Weight (lightness)
5) Screen (Full HD) (good quality is a must)
6) Attached software (kill them all!)
7) CD drive (I want one)

Also, should I wait for the new intel HASWELL chips, which promise to provide superior power efficiency along with powerful graphics that rival dedicated cards? Or should I pull the trigger now? Also, do you think that Sony would release a Vaio S in the future with touch?

BTW, no price problems. Maximum performance please! but nothing that costs like REALLY a lot. If possible keep under 2k. Anything over 2.5k is tough.
