please help... Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode...?

Question

This was in color.... a black man (escape convict) runs to a white lady's house (blond, I think) she had a canary or some bird in a cage..
I really remember this in color and I know it was either the newer TZ or AH presents..

Please help, I'd love to see this episode again.  The plot that I remember was exactly that of: "You got to have luck" which is b/w, so it's definitely not the one that I remember watching.

Was there a remake of "You Got to Have Luck" from 1965 (AH presents, season 1) ?

Yes, the episode was remade in the 1985 coloured series of 'Alfred Hitchcock Presents'. It is one of the best episodes of the series.

In the remake, it was called 'Prisoners' (Season 1, Episode 9).

Both the episodes are actually adapted from a story by S.R. Ross.
