I fond a I phone 5 What should I do?

Ok so im out for a walk and I found an I phone 5 pretty lucky right. So I dont like apple, So I have no apple devices at all so what should I do with It. The battery is dead or so I think, I don't even Know but from what i can tell its battery is dead. so I came to cross roads the first being Keep it and the other give it to the police where it will probably get put in a drawer, If the I phone works and the person comes to my house I will gladly give it to them but other wise I would normally just keep it on my drawer for 2 months and then just give it away for 100 bucks. Please answer me honestly and and again please dont give me a preachy lecture.

Take it to an apple store, charge it, and then try to get any info about the owner from the phone. Basically just go through the phone and try to figure out of there's a way you can figure out who it belongs through. Like if there's an account logged into iTunes see if you can pull up the account info with the person's address on it. Or even just try calling someone from their contacts - probably someone from their favorites is a good bet - so you can let someone they know know that you have their phone and they can tell you where to send it.

find a friend who has an apple charger and call a family member to let the owner know you found their phone. from my experience, the owner is normally extremely grateful that you actually returned their phone. I've come across 3 different phones and each time that was their reaction. personally stealing is below me.

find the person who it belongs to, and find their email. then, get the phone, put it in the toilet and spray it with chocolate syrup, take a picture and send it to the owner.

but never tell the owner where you live or else you might get balled on
