Are we having fun yet? Here's a weekender JUST FOR FUN question:?
In fishing, what is an inconnu? What is its REAL name, and what is its nickname. (three answers) I WILL give the ten points to the first person who gets it right, or to the person who comes the closest. Good luck!
So far, so good. But the nickname we're looking for applies most to its out of water aerobatics attributed to a fish found more often in Florida and similar Atlantic waters. By the way, the fish we are talking about can reach weights in excess of 50 pounds. It gets its common name, sheefish, from Eskimo origins because it was called "chi" by them which is pronounced as if the "i" were an "e". One of Alaska's more uncommon freshwater (river) game fish. It is attracted to bright and shiny spoons and may be caught accidentally by those in search of northern pike.
