Guppy Fry Curved Spine, Moma guppy swimming head down tail up?

3 and 1/2 weeks ago my blonde female guppy gave birth to 15 fry a week later the moma began to swim head down tail up, she eats fine. I did some research and learned I should remove her from the tank, place her in doctoring tank and add salt and fast her for a couple days and then feed her a frozen pea (after thawed) everyday I clean the tank and every 3rd day I add salt. I am now only feeding her once a day, but she is not showing any improvement. Could this be a deformitiy? Also one of her fry, 3 weeks after birth, developed a curved spine. What is the cause of this? Also I read that it might be best to cull it. Should I do that? Please help me make the right decision. Thanks.

She does sounds like she has a swim bladder problem but since you already tried the treatment, i'm not completely positive what it could be. Could very well be a deformity. Does she has any odd shapes in her spine? That could be the cause.
And yes, you should cull the baby. It's is deformed and will die later in it's live as the spine will most likely worsen. This is caused from inbreeding. If you keep it alive and it survives, it will just inbreed more and craeate grossly deformed offspring.
Watch other babies for this as they grow, it doesn't always show up at birth. I've had a guppy reach adult size and then have a severely bent spine form.
