solve using the remainder theorem?
P(x)=-4x^3-10x+5 c=-1
and
P(x)=5x^3-8x^4+2x^3-6x^2-9 c=3
I am not sure what or how to use the remainder theorem
but the remainder for the first problem is -1
and for the second is 3

What are you supposed to find?
The original polynomial is equal to the quotient times the divisor plus the remainder.
O = Q*D + R
