solve using the remainder theorem?

P(x)=-4x^3-10x+5 c=-1



and


P(x)=5x^3-8x^4+2x^3-6x^2-9 c=3

I am not sure what or how to use the remainder theorem

but the remainder for the first problem is -1

and for the second is 3

What are you supposed to find?

The original polynomial is equal to the quotient times the divisor plus the remainder.

O = Q*D + R
