of a noise i was hearing the guy said that the grease fitting is missing.. Cna one be put on with the ball joint still on the car.

as long as the ball joint is still good you can put a grease fitting in the ball joint if there is a place for a fitting ! a lot of the newer cars don,t have grease fittings !

Grease fittings on ball joints are very, very rare these days. I recommend calling the shop that replaced the ball joint and see what they have to say. I bet the ball joint is sealed.
