Electraglide electrical issues?

2002 Ultra Classic. Got on to ride home this afternoon, and noticed several problems. No running lights/blinkers, but the headlight and passing lights are fine. No speedo, no odometer, none of the idiot lights in the speedo lit up. Bike had issues going back to idle, wanted to die (it did several times) but I got it home.

Fuse, busted wire, something worse?

Maybe something worse.
Blown fuses don't do what you are describing but a faulty stator or rectifier does.

Press and hold in your odometer/tripmeter button while turning the ignition switch on.

An electrical fault code should be displayed on your odometer display.

Look up the code in your factory service manual (if you have one)
or try to find the code online.

I had a similar incident with a 2000 nightrain, ended up being the voltage regulator.
It wasn't terribly expensive to replace, and easy to install myself.

you just answered my question..

it was a question about a hypothetical situation d*ck head. I never said i was going to do it.. and where it says "additional details" under my question, that was aimed towards people like yourself. Hope your POS motorcycle blows up inbetween your legs and leaves you with a dismantled c*ck that no woman other than your mother will ever go near
