I want to play mods via LAN. i tried the lord of the rings mod but it did not work. I want mods that are not too simple. I want mods that are really good but LANable.
I used minecraft forge universal..... was that a mistake?????

Mods work on LAN but the thing is that they usually require that all of the people on the LAN game install the mod. Some mods like Rei's Minimap are excluded from that, of course.

that somewhat does remember upon the server. If the server says that I has that mod, then for sure it would want to have the mod enabled.yet when it does not then usually it gained't artwork. Tekkit ftw
