I would like to make an online Pokemon game but it has to be free. How do I do that? like Pokemon Obsidian. It would have new Pokemon (and the old one) and a full story. Or would I have to buy a program? If so what is the program? and any other information you think is necessary.

You dont necessarily learn to write actual code. BTW pokemon wasnt written in java. There are several free easy and simple game designing software for people new to the art. If you spend some time on google and do some research you could probably be making one in a week or two.

you need to learn java and it will take you about 2 years
