Hi guys, I have been thinking of Rooting my Galaxy Y for a while now. Its warranty has Expired and I wish to keep it a year more.So my question is Would rooting brick my phone? If I accidentally brick it,can I recover it? And my last question , If I root it ,will the technicians approve it for service when needed?

There is always the risk of bricking the phone. If bricked, yes it can be recovered but if hard brick, then its just a brick which u can use to smash things. :)
If the phone is rooted, you will have to un root it before going to the technicians for service etc.
The chances of bricking are only when you do something wrong, if you follow the steps advised on different websites specially "xda-developers", it will be a perfect root !!
