Is there a way to test car battery booster packs?

I've got two, both 4 years old or older, and even after having them hooked up all night, have trouble/can't jump start a 6 cylinder Ford. Is the car too dead? Or can the battery packs loose carrying capacity after awhile?

Thanks in advance for your input.

fully charge the boost pack and bring it in to have it load tested. They can be tested like any other battery. And yes, the gel cell pack can become defective. It would be a good idea to charge the battery over night, out of the car, and bring that one in as well for testing.

with out doing a sprint generic assessments there is not any technique to earnings what's up. you like a lulti meter to perform a little readings and you probably may be sensible to have the battery the starter and the alternator checked alongside with the battery and starter. once you have have been given an autozone close by they maximum probable do a alternator a battery and a sdtarter verify with out spending a dime. New batteries do go undesirable now and returned so its properly worth finding out to confirm off hand it form of appears like a capability drain from some ingredient in the vehicle which might demonstrate up on a multi meter or you additionally can purely have a susceptible battery. And it would desire to additionally be the starter is gettisng wiped out and pulling too many qmps while beginning off.
