Is the customer always right?

The title really says it all but I want to hear your opinion.

This is one of those phrases that got distorted from its original meaning which is that the customer should be treated as being unique and special. That still is a good business practice to follow even when they are wrong. :)

NO, the customer is usually always wrong, and this is because they lack all prerequisite knowledge that would allow them to be right. The customer knows the least about any given businesses operation and spends the least amount of time experiencing any given business operation. "The customer is always right" is just a slogan utilized by a business to ensure that the customer is treated in such a way that ensures they will return and therefore maximizes that business's profits.

that is the rule, but not all of the costumers. If I was an owner of a certain business, I won't tolerate those rude costumers. I , thank you! Hahaha
