he hasn't left he is still in the W.W.E. actually he is injured. his speculated return is after money in the bank 2013 although it might be earlier. he was dealing with injuries from november 2012 & now after his program with the rock & the undertaker he has been given time to heel although show seems bad without him but we will see him soon.

CM Punk is taking time off to rest and rehab the injuries that have been bothering him for the last 9 months. Maybe you didn't know this but CM Punk has been wrestling hurt since the fall of 2012. CM Punk has not set a formal timetable for his return. CM Punk didn't leave WWE. If you wrestled as many matches in a given week as CM Punk, John Cena, Sheamus, Randy Orton, The Big Show do every week and did this year after year, you would want to take some time off.

Big Show faced The Undertaker at Survivor Series and lost and he is stilll around Mark Henry Faced The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 22 and lost and he is still around I think you are confused with The Buried Alive Match which wwe seems to have banished which i can't say I blame them. Cm Punk is supposidly in the dog house and this may very well be a rumour and the casket match is most likely to be a dark match or the end of a very intense fued. Plus Wwe needs Main Event heels on Smackdown desperatley so I doubt they will fire a main eventer player like Cm Punk

CM Punk didn't quit WWE, he is taking time off from his injuries and he will return in a couple of months, he might return this summer for Summerslam.

I don't know where he is. I don't really care though because CM Punk talks too much crap and has cheated in his matches.
As for why he left, The Undertaker taught him a lesson. That's why.
