#1 Looks better on a black phone. #2 would look better on a white iPhone

The first one is cool. But the second would probably look better with the black phone.
If you're looking for a FUNKY kind of look, get the first. If you're looking for chic or something, the second would fit better.

A best case is the otter box commuter case. It can be glossy and fashionable, but it protects your beneficial iPhone. :) i've it and that i adore it. Just make sure to get the commuter case and not the defender case. :)
