Mail chat appearance?

In previous versions of yahoo mail, there used to be options to change appearance of chat inside yahoo mail, such as linear or bubbles. Is this customizable appearance discontinued now?

Yahoo closed all the chat rooms Dec. 14, 2012, they won't be reopened. You can still use your messenger to send im's.
