What should I do to prepare for NROTC?
I've won the Frederick C. Branch scholarship (an NROTC scholarship) and I'll be a college freshman in August.
What should I do to prepare?
What USMC and Navy knowledge should I learn?
How much should I run?

Have you contacted your unit? I bet they could tell you everything you need to know. And then some.

Navy training is very similar to the USMC training. Work on your pull ups, the qualifying is 21 pull ups. There is a 3 mile run, I believe its around 12 mins. Lastly there is the sit ups, 100 in one minute. I did Air Force ROTC, which was easy for me, I left that for the Marines ROTC now.

You don't really need to prepare anything. The whole idea of pre-commissioning training is to prepare you to be an Officer. They will teach you everything you need to know. The trouble with learning stuff ahead of time, is that it may be wrong, or not exactly what the program of instruction calls for - so then you just look like a know-it-all ********.
