we've been dating 4 years next week, almost every year he forgets...i normally remind him a little bit before but i kinda wanted to see if he'd remember this time. its next week should i remind him or see if hes just playing dumb? He wouldn't forget a 4th time in a row would he? Or is it silly to worry about this and its not a big deal?

The vast majority of men haven't a clue what a "dating anniversary" is and totally don't care. If course he'd "forget" the 4th time in a row. He has no idea what the date was of your first date. No matter how many times you tell him. Guys don't usually care at all about things like that. It was a date ... you've been on many more. The first one probably wasn't even the best one. Dear, it wasn't a wedding. It was a date.

I honestly do not know the date my husband and I met. We've been happily married 24 years.
We dated about 2 months before getting engaged and we were married 4 months after that.

it is kind of odd that he forgets, because he is the man in the relationship which means he should kind of try more to be sweet twards you and romantic. Just wait til he forgets if he even does this time, and if he does than be like what the heck?? It hurts my feeling that you are the guy and you forget our big day.
