Linux Mint Problem with Hard Drive ? 10 Points for the best answer?

Yesterday , I was using Windows 7 and it was lagging too much. So I Installed Linux Mint 14 (not 15). I chose the language, then chose the option ' Replace Windows 7 with Linux Mint 14' . It showed that the Entire HDD is used by Linux and Windows files n settings would be deleted. I clicked continue, and the OS was installed successfully. Now ,whenever I try to open my Hard drive ' Its shows that it cant mount. But I can still download apps n Media . What should I do to open my Hard drive and Create Partitions?

You should download the GPARTED Live CD iso, burn it, then boot from it. You will be able to alter your partittions while Mint isn't running.

The install process gives you a chance to set your partitions how you want them. From what you say, you ignored that opportunity.

I don't see anything in your screen shot that shows an NTSF partition that Windows would be on. You can't open a drive that is already Mounted. Being all Linux you would open the one that says file system. If Mint is booting up you would open the admin folder and click on gparted which is the hard drive partitioning program.

I'm not sure what you are asking. When it boots up do you get a dual boot menu to choose Linux or Windows.
