Action Figures, to open or not?

I've started collecting Neca Terminator, Aliens and Predator figures.
When I was a kid collecting Star Wars figures there was no question, rip 'em open and start playing.
But as an adult I now know the value of unopened figures.
So my question is, should I leave them in their packaging, or open them and put them on display?

Do not they are worth ten times the value with the seal still intact and in a couple of years you need some extra cash there you go. PEACE!!
