Is it possible to connect Ipod nano to DVD player in car?

I want to be able to connect my ipod nano somehow to the car DVD player. I see that it has a yellow, red, and white hook up for various chords, although we do have an AUX cable with device. I just need to know if it's possible, and if so where to hook it up. I read online somewhere that you can buy a separate cable?

This sounds hard but it's easy. Cut one end off of the aux cable so that you have bare wires at one end and a headphone jack at the other. Strip the red and white wire inside the aux cable and twist the white one together with the bare wire that wraps around the other two wires. Now get an RCA cable for a DVD player (yellow red and white or blue red and green doesn't matter) and cut two if the plugs off with enough wire to strip and splice it. Now take the white wire from the plug and connect it to the red wire of the aux cable. Tape that part good. Then connect the bare wire from the plug and connect it to the white wire on the aux cable. Or if your a purist connect the white wire from one plug to the red and the white wire from the other plug to the white and the bare wires all go together. It's actually pretty self explanatory and if you mess up nothing bad will happen. Just leave the rcas plugged in and rearrange the wires till you have 4 corners of sound. I have faith in you!

I-pod nano with the aid of fact it could play songs and movies and bypass everwere as a replace of a dvd participant inwhich you may desire to sit down down and watch. An ipod you could in simple terms walk around with. keep it real. =)

Yes, with a 3.5mm to RCA cable. if it doesn't mute audio without a video signal.
