birds. they are beautiful and can fly, they are so interesting to watch and listen to, they have languages

Birds, but especially chickens. They are pretty, they are funny to watch as they have their own personalities and intelligence, they are brave, friendly, and will eat right out of your hand, plus, contrary to popular belief they can be trained to do tricks. They won't talk of course, but you can teach them things. Plus their babies may well be the cutest damn thing on the planet. Most baby birds look like nut sacks, but these guys are fuzzy and love to run around.

I like Scorpions. I personally keep Emperor Scorpions. I've always been interested in exotic species. Scorpions are not just a bug. they are quite intelligent and will learn to eat out of your hand. They also drink water out of a bowl much like a dog.
