The International Olympic Committee is taking a lot of criticism for deciding to drop wrestling from the Summer Games. Many people are petitioning to have it reinstated.
But why not just have it in the Winter Olympics?
First, it's done indoors, so cold weather outside isn't relevant. And second, while there are around 300 medal events in the Summer Olympics, the Winter Games have less than a third of that. Surely they can find time on the schedule for wrestling....
What do you think?

Sorry but wrestling CAN'T join the Winter Olympics unless the Olympic Charter is rewritten. Chapter 1, article 6 of the 2007 edition of the Olympic Charter defines winter sports as "sports which are practiced on snow or ice." Wrestling just isn't played on snow or ice.
That's a really good idea! Facility-wise, wrestling needs very little: a gym with stands and mats. And you're right about scheduling. Both Summer and Winter Olympics last 17 days: Friday to two weeks from Sunday.
There's no reason wrestling must be held in the Summer. To decrying that this isn't the way it was traditionally done, I say that wrestling is one of the most traditional Olympic sports. If moving it to the winter keeps it in the Games, what could be more traditional than that? Also, if we're to be bound by tradition, shouldn't ice hockey be played in the Summer Olympics, like it was in 1920?
Wrestling should be moved to the winter olympics it's actually a skilled sport but was overwhelmed by so many other summer games that is more popular . Moving it to winter game sounds more reasonable for the athletes who strive at the sport as well as give a game to the winter games.
Although that is a fabulous idea, pretty much genius actually I don't think a lot have thought of that all Winter Olympic sports have to be on snow or ice
