Can someone explain to me what a Torsion Stop is?

That is what caused Jason Leffler's car to crash (not allow him to turn the car), and am not sure what it is.

Any info would be appreciated.

A torsion bar is a spring.
But instead of it being coiled up like a stock car coil,
it is a straight piece.
One end there is an arm connected to say the axle.
The other end has a "stop" on it.
It keeps the torion bar from spinning, when the suspension moves.
So that the torsion bar actually twists.
The stop is also like the jacking blots on stock cars.
you can change the amount of preload on the bar.
Similar to when you hear the stock car guys say
he added a round to the right rear.
You do that with the "stop" on a torsion bar suspension car.
Like sprints and midgets.
