I just got a new battery for my blackberry curve 9350...?

And it had been sitting in the mailbox (which is very hot inside) for 2 days before I took it out and used it. With the old battery I had been charging it 3 times a day and now with this one I have to charge it once a day with moderate to heavy use. Is this normal or did my battery get damaged by the heat in the mailbox?

Its just because the new battery just started its life cycle, the more you charge a battery, the less of a charge it will hold.
