My favorites are Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I also like Friday the Thirteenth (not the crappy sequels though). Any J-horrors are usually really kinda creepy. And I LOVE movies based on Stephen King's writings. He's an AMAZING writer.
If you've already seen all of those some others are:
The Amityville Horror (murder house)
Dawn of the Dead (both of them are good. some zombies)
Session 9 (this is actually really amazing and isn't just all that gore, screaming, garbage)
A Tale of Two Sisters (if you're wondering this one isn't J-horror it's Korean)
Signs (same director The Sixth Sense [watch that one if you haven't] it's actually a very well-put-together horror flick)
The Crazies (the 2010 remake actually is an improvement of the older one)
The Omen (The older one is the better version i believe. and any Damien or Omen movie is alright)
28 Days Later (amazing post-apocalyptic movie. and some zombies)
The Brood (creepy kids)
The Decent (i never watched the whole thing because i was too scared)
Nightmare on Elm Street (freddie has a beautiful face)
Saw (they all are actually pretty good. the billy doll is a pretty huge cliche though)
Silence of the Lambs (yeah...serial killers)
Rec (yeah i'm still scared)
Halloween (Michael Myers)
Ju-On (I know i already said J-horror...but this is just terrifying)
Exorcist (probably already seen it, but check out the directors cut it doesn't disappoint)
The Thing (shape shifting aliens)
Hopefully this helps! I'm sure there's one on there you haven't seen or at least one you haven't seen in a while.
