Both games released in HD are the international versions.

Sure, a 42" with 1024x768 is HD. All television announces are 1080i or 720p, so there's no drawback. In phrases of pixels, yes, a 42" is "four:three". Nonetheless, the pixels on the 42" are rectangular (on the opposite TVs they are square), so although the pixel ratio is 4:3, the tv is still large monitor.
