Caught mouse under sofa?

I found mouse droppings a few days ago so I placed traps yesterday and I caught one in the trap I placed behind my sofa. Now I'm worried that the mice are nesting in my sofa, should I get rid of it? Do you think that's where the mice are nesting, or do you think this mouse just happened to be walking behind the couch when he got caught?

The mouse was probaly walking past and got caught in the trap. You should have an extermintlator come to your home and check it out your house to see if their nesting.

If I were you, and I am not, I would put more traps out, loaded with PB, and see how many you can get. There is not just one, in my opinion. Traps are the way if you have any animals.

maximum probable your cat can smell the poison. Their experience of smell is plenty greater delicate than ours. Do you recognize that if your cat eats the mouse after the mouse has been poisoned, your cat would be poisoned too? lots of the rat poisons comprise a product that reasons them to start bleeding internally. do you decide directly to hazard your cat injesting this?
