I am looking for a place visit..?

I love writing and would like to take a month off and just go live somewhere.
I'm looking for a very beautiful place, where inspiration can be found at every corner.
I would also love a place where I would feel like I'm stepping into the past.
I don't know if this makes much sense, but I would love some suggestions. Maybe a place you have visited or would like to visit.
Thank you all in advance.

I think one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited was on the Skyline Drive, in Virginia. Its a drive along the Blue Ridge Moutains. It's just so beautiful, they have tons of gorgeous views, and the sunsets/rises and amazing! When it's misty out it is also unexplainably beautiful. Luray Caverns is the largest cave on the eastern seaboard. I think you might also be inspired by that as well. It's a beautiful place to visit! I think they might have a Yogi Bear park there too. You should do some research on it:)

The place I'm mentioning IS in the U.S. (If you are from the U.S.) but ISN'T part of the U.S. (Technically) The republic of the Florida Keys! I've been there and believe it or not, these islands are rich with history going back to when pirates wrecked their ships. (I'm only telling you this because when I was there, I visited Key West and went to an old civil war fort built and controlled by the union...They told us that on Key West alone, there was maybe 10 million dollars of pirate gold right off of the shores!) Well, the houses in Key West are the most expensive out of the 3 islands but I don't know your budget...But overall it has a GREAT atmosphere with ALL KINDS of history with pirates and the civil war! Hope I helped!

Go to Greenland!

Absolutely beautiful, no pollution and the people are as kind as can be!

There is so much to also be done, but you better hurry, the days are getting short there :P
