how to install another OS on a dual booted pc?

For example ...i have windows 7 and 8 side by side (dual boot)....suppose Microsoft launches Windows 9,then what should i do...can i just overwrite one of the windows i currently have and install Windows 9 there?? Is there any risk?

you can use a virtual machine we call it vm i think you can also install windows 9 if it comes out simply put the disc in shut down and turn the computer back on and volla but i would not advise having 3 operating systems i have two on one computer

You can dual boot as many OS as you want.
