Can low dopamine be permanently repaired in the brain or would it be a contined practice of taking supplements?
I think I have been depressed and very anxious for many years (I'm 20 and it probably started around age 10-12) as well as now I am realizing the extent of my difficulty concentrating and creating/pulling up memories. After talking to a therapist for the first time this past week I also mentioned that I tend to be able to focus in on video-games or TV easily, almost hypnotically drawn to a TV screen, which he mentioned is a sign of ADHD. I am really hoping it is not ADHD, because of its incorrectability, and I think that years and years of constant depression, bad sleep/insomnia, anxiety, poor(ish) diet, and not-regular exercise, (*cough plus I tend to masturbate habitually, which led me to the idea of low dopamine) I wonder if I do not have ADHD but the symptoms are similar. I have had a lot of stress on my body
to the point that I have a LOT of grey hairs, so I think it may just be these compounded factors that appear to be ADHD.
Either way, I really want to be able to increase the levels of dopamine in my body. I've looked at CDP-Choline, L-Dopa, and dietary/lifestyle changes to help. What I really want to know is whether or not dopamine levels can be permanently repaired, even after years of stress, so that in the future I wont have to continuously take supplements or stick to such a strict routine of diet and exercise.

yes, dopamine system is easily regulated. sorry to burst ur bubble, but its not just dopamine system thats involved in ur symptoms. neurotransmitter and neuromodulators interactions are just like a spiders web.
