Does anyone think Alonso will wind up driving for Red Bull in 2014?
Fernando Alonso's name has been tossed out there as a possible driver for Red Bull in 2014. Ferrari hasn't built a proper F1 car in a while, so I think if Alonso had the opportunity to go there, he'd be stupid not to take it. Red Bull would be stupid to not try and get him, in my opinion. Of course having Vettel and Alonso on the same team could be another Prost/Senna disaster as well. Will Fernando stay put or jump to Red Bull?

Are you kidding me? Vettel has a meltdown every time Webber beats him and constantly talks Webber down every time he's even close. Can you imagine how it would be if Alonso or Raikkonen was in the other car - drivers clearly, incredibly better than him?!
If you thought Webber's mech failures were bad, just wait til Raikkonen or Alonso started beating Golden Boy!
In my opinion Fernando will stay for about one more year and if the pace of the Ferrari continues to deteriorate, he might switch to Red Bull for 2015. However, the odds of this happening is not very high, as Alonso has a contract 2016, which he will break should he move to Red Bull. Anyway, everything depends on the Ferrari's and Red Bull's current and upcoming race pace.
With a major overhaul of regulations set for 2014 most driver line-ups should remain static because drivers would be migrating to the unknown. It worked out for Jenson in 2009(he didn't actually move) but Hamilton who had he quickest car in 2008 was reduced to a mere spectator for most part of the season, Fernando wouldn't want that I'm sure. Fernando has challenged for 2 championships with Ferrari and losing out in all more by bad luck than Ferrari's reliability, so a move to Red Bull, as enticing as it seems, would be Fernando's choice to reliving his 2007 debacle at Mclaren.
I think it's highly unlikely as he has a contract with Ferrari until 2016. So for it to be possible, Alonso or Red Bull would have to pay a pretty big fee to "break" the contract. I think Alonso is just trying to put the pressure on Ferrari but I don't think he seriously considers leaving.
Fernando has always maintained that Ferrari is where he belongs and it's the last team he'll drive for in F1. Nobody thought they would let him down like this as many times as they have since he switched from Mclaren and I can't blame people for thinking he would consider another team for winning the title. However there's no guarantee he'll win one at RBR or with any other team. Fernando knows this and he also knows at RBR he won't be the main guy, although I doubt he'll have trouble winning fans over. Also, I doubt he would want to switch driving 599's or F430's in everyday life for an Infiniti M or G series sedan.
