I actually laughed and could only think of Anthrax - I am the Law... good for any Judge Dredd fans out there like myself. Could also fit into your second question as normal people don't seem to care much for Stallone or Judge Dredd, and coincidentally, they judge accordingly.
Add to all that, I grew up in the 90's, and therefore had girlfriends that loved the popular radio rock of the day. So I have nostalgic love of all kinds of bands ranging from incubus/ matchbox 20 to Alanis Morissette that plenty of the black/death crowd I tend to surround myself with would easily turn their nose up at.
