My rental co. owns LOTS of properties. Do i pt a note in with the check with my complex name so they know?

I have to mail my rent check monthly. If I just stick a check in the envelope, how will they know who I am and where I live? (My checks still have my parents address on them.) Should I stick a note in the envelope with my complex name, address, and apt.# to be sure they know or is that stupid?

Yes. Include your apartment name, address and apt number. Don't give them an excuse to say they never received your check and overcharge you.

Put the address of the unit on the Memo line on the bottom of the check. That should be sufficient.

Definitely include your full address which includes your apartment number.
