What would have happened if Mexico joined the axis during WWII and actually attacked the US?
Other than the obvious of mexico most likely getting obliterates by the US. I know that Mexico was a huge help to the US by actually supplying them with 40 percent of the fuel that our military used so would this have helped the Germans enouph to win the war ? I actually bearly found this out and im Mexican haha so i might be wrong on some things so please no hate

Mexico also sent troops to fight and die with Allied forces.
Both Germany and Japan sent spies through Mexico (and other latin american nations, along with Canada) to try observe US actions and gather information.
Germany did try to get Mexico to side with them during WWI, when things were more equal militarily, and the Spanish American War was still fresh in people's memory. Mexico declined.
Mexico would have 'liberated' Panama, taken over the canal, deprived the USA of huge amounts of fuel, incited rebellion among the millions of Mexicans in the US, persuaded many South America countries to side with them and may have given a good account of themselves. There were many, many nazi sympathisers in South America, governments included.
It may have delayed both of the Pacific and European Wars but the Mexicans would have been handled pretty quickly, as the majority of Mexicans would have sided with the Americans anyway as they knew the futility of fighting them yet again H-man
You know all that time the US spent gearing up for D-day? That time would have been spent bombing Mexico, without air opposition, and installing a new puppet government in Mexico.
