I notice they keep moving NASCAR Race Hub around so that you can't see it at a consistent time. Could they not have left it at a regualr time?
Do you like the new channel?

EDIT: ESPN has NASCAR Now I think. The question is about Fox1 and NASCAR Race Hub, so you both are right. I suspect that it will start costing more money for some. For now it comes with my regular package, if they charge more for it, guess it will have to disappear.

My provider has been bouncing it around between SPEED International (which countries like Canada also get in case you didn't know) & FOX Sports 1. Yes it is a bit frustrating that Race Hub is bounced around different times & 1/2 less than it was.
Well other than Race Hub & the occasional practice/qualifying shows I don't care for much of the coverage on the channel, but at least there are Sprint Cup races to look forward to in 2015.
I've just watched whatever their alternative to Sportscenter is called once. I wasn't that impressed, although the ticker on the side of the screen is nice. Nothing else they've had on so far that I was aware of interested me enough to turn it over there. It may as well be the UFC channel from what I've seen.
As long as they still have the NASCAR pre- and post-race shows I'll flip over for those sometimes.
Staap It, you do realize ESPN has televised NASCAR races for over 30 years now, right?
So I guess we're to believe you had no idea NASCAR has been on a "real sports channel" for over 30 years Staap It? I know you claim you don't care about it and haven't watched it in years despite spending a lot of time here for some reason, but I didn't know it was that long ago you quit watching it. You might want to re-read the question too, it was about Fox Sports 1, not Race Hub.
Only once and saw it was nothing like the Speed channel. I wish NASCAR would launch their own channel to cover only NASCAR and make it available to everyone. Some cable companies are putting the Fox 1 and Fox 2 channels on a high end package which costs more. I have DirecTV but an ESPN clone is not what I want.
Well, nascar wanted to be recognized as a sport. Now they are part of a true sports channel. Speed had been a channel for watching racing, all different types, And nascar certainly was dominating their air time. As nascar wanted they are competing now with all the other sports. Seems to me to have been yet another nascar miscalculation. Throw them in competition with other sports, and now you also have the people who can not understand how watching cars go round and round always left.
I bet all those nascar shows soon are gone. Watch them while they last. Here is the root of what these shows are. They are sitting in a studio, or at the race track, just sitting there for the duration. This is done with very LOW production costs. Nascar due to licensing was making a huge profit from these shows, because the fee to Speed to run them was VERY high. Now you see FoxSports1 running their own, low cost productions sitting in the studio. Difference is Fox saves a bunch of money not using the high cost shows nascar produces. And as I said now, the " sport " of nascar is only one sport among many being covered.
I bet in the end, we get qualifying, and races only of nascar. all the rest will be gone. Further more, as Grizzly Man said. in many cable packages, FoxSports1 is in the premium pay for package. Some of us to this point are still getting it free, but, watch how this goes. Nascar wanted to compete, I think they made a huge mistake in their thinking. NOT UNUSUAL. The market nascar wanted is very competitive in the entire world of " sports ".
So when will there be a " Nascar channel " ? Nascar propaganda 24/7 all the time everyday. LOL
Never happen...Thank you Bill France ( and the hole gets deeper ). Sorry, sports fans.
EDIT : @Colonel Reb, Hummm, I thought the question was about nascar race hub. It was on the Speed channel when we watched it. With the other nascar shows I spoke of. You must get a different Speed channel then most, on ESPN in your world. Sorry for MY over site, I was answering the question asked. And race car hub was at least on Speed here.
