Why do atheists seem to hate theological apologetics?

Like if they ask a question about theology, and you actually give them the answer, they're not at lest satisfied that there actually is apologetic reasoning in the Bible. Rather, it seems like they only asked the question to perpetuate destructive criticism against theology, as opposed to trying to actually get to the bottom of the question.

- You making things up from the bible to support your fantasy is meaningless. Try dealing with reality and facts.

When did a fundie ever want to get a real answer to a question.

So, you consider theology study of the Bible only? You seem to not understand what theology means. And besides, usually a non-theist or non-Christian will want to discuss the Bible to show how false it is because it has not been proven to be true, rather than having a Bible study session with you. I'm not sure what the problem here is. If you cannot be challenged and accept criticism of your religion, then maybe you shouldn't try discussing it with people. Because what's the point of discussion if people are only allowed to discuss things your way?

As an atheist, I believe any questioning of religious scriptures should be left for those who follow them. There is no factual evidence in support of a God/Creator. Therefore, I see no rationality in questioning Biblical scriptures that are based on a God/Creator, there's just no factual evidence to support such an existence.
Biblical stories require faith and I see no justification in arguing about events within stories that have derived from a God/Creator in which is not verifiable, by way of eyewitnesses or modern-day science.

What kind of loving god would do the terrible things the OT god does?

Answer: He is by definition all loving and therefore even the barbaric things he does is all loving.

Yep, this is why I hate the illogical dogmatic scripted answers you call apologetics.

Because xian apologetics assume gawd exists and you haven't even proven that, so it's frustrating trying to make you realize your whole argument is flawed from the beginning.
