Does anyone have a recipe for chocolate funnel cakes ?

I would like to try different flavored funnel cakes. Does anyone have a recipe for chocolate, German chocolate, or any other flavor that would be good.

Ingredients

1 1/4 cup milk
½ cup chocolate syrup
2 eggs
2 cups self-rising flour
powdered sugar

Directions

Beat eggs, chocolate syrup and milk together. Beat in flour until mixture is smooth (I use a whisk). In an 8" skillet, heat 2 cups oil until hot (about 360 deg). Allow about ½ cup of the batter to flow through a funnel while moving the funnel above the hot oil. Spiral the batter into the oil to form a round cake. Allow to cook about 2 minutes or until brown. Turn and cook about 1 minute. Remove from the oil and dust generously with powdered sugar.
