I have a prepaid vacation but I am applying to a job as a cafteria worker.?

I am applying for a job as a cafeteria worker at the district high school in town. My question is I have a pre paid vacation. What is the best way to approach this? As it will be in October. I had no problem in the past when I told the interviewer about a pre planned vacation but this is a school and not retail all the jobs that had no problem with his were retail jobs.

If they offer you the job, tell them about the vacation BEFORE you accept and ask if you can have the time off without pay. If they say no, you'll have to decide between the vacation and the job.
