Identify teensy beetles in SC?

I live in coastal SC. Very tiny beetle-like bugs, brownish black, appear at one kitchen window sill--every day a new batch, after I've wiped away the last, and most of them are already dead. I do not see any outside the window, which is not open, but only just inside; if they are crawling in from outside, I do not see the opening, but they are very tiny, like the head of a pin or smaller (and I don't see any on the outside about to come in). I don't see them on a list of common bugs of SC. I could send a sample to Clemson University but thought I'd see if anyone on Yahoo knows what they are. Prior to the appearance of these, in the last couple of weeks, we had a lot of fruit flies in the house. Now there are no more little flying bugs, only these wee crawling beetles.

They are probably Kudzu bugs--or kudzu beetles. These tend to congregate in the spring and fall, they like windowsills and door sills--and you will see them in great numbers after a "hatch"--when they are in search of their favorite food--kudzu. (also known as "lablab bugs.") Very small roundish brownish black beetles. 

Do not smash them or vacuum them--they leave stains when crushed and can smell bad if you mash them or send them into your vacuum motor--if you use the vacuum, cover one end of the hose (where it attaches to the main sweeper) with a scrap of pantyhose to catch them before they hit the motor. Wipe them up or sweep them into a plastic bag, immerse the wiped up bugs in hot soapy water to kill them and toss them in the trash. Don't use insecticides OUTside the house to control them--but you can use pyrethrin inside on your windowsills and door frames. 

If you find any crushed ones, be careful about touching the 'bug goo' because some people are allergic to it and will get a rash from it.
