So Obama wants to save a bunch of people that hate the USA. The women support Hamas terrorists. The children will grow up to be taliban terrorists. These people, on both sides are our enemies....Why are we spending a dime to help them?

You are right, both sides are our enemies so why kill our enemy who are killing our enemy. Simply put, IMO, Obama only wants to attack Assad's regime.in order to aid the opposition. Primarily because they represent The Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Queda). Likewise his support of Egypt's ousted President Morsi.

I was not aware of him wanting to save anyone. As you say most of them will be enemies of the west.
President Obama is simply concerned at the use of chemical weapons that have been banned by most of the world and seems to blame the Syrian regime for it.
He is concerned it may pose a security risk to the US and he wants a limited punitive strike to try and prevent the use of chemical weapons again.
