Why do people love to deny Michael Jordan's greatness?

A lot of people claim the 90s was weak but it was the most talented eras in NBA history and it was the best. Penny Hardaway, Jordan, Hakeem, Shaq, Duncan, Tim Hardaway, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Alonzo Mourning, Dikembe Mutombo, Gary Payton, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Dennis Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson, John Starks, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Webber, Rob Strickland, Chris Mullen, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Dominique Wilkins, Mitch Richmond, Clyde Drexler, Magic Johnson, Joe Dummars, ect (I can go on forever) played in the 90s and are some of the best and most talented players ever. Jordan won 6 rings in "this watered down league" infront of these great players. Jordan also denied great players like Barkley, Wilkins, Ewing, Starks, Shaq, Penny, Payton, ect championships in the 90s. There is a reason why the 90s is widely reguarded as the "Golden Age" of basketball.
I am not a brainwashed fan, I just don't go with the popular answer as GOAT, I have looked at Jordan's stats, accomplishments, and have watched him and I have came to the conclusion he is the GOAT. Oh I guess your going to call of these legends "brainwashed" who played against Jordan and many other great players:
Magic Johnson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wcr3PR3AQw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
"There is Mike and the rest of us". I think Magic would know. He played with Kareem for nearly a decade, competed against Bird 4 times total in championships throughout his basketball career (college and NBA), played Dr.J, Moses Malone, ect. Magic was born in 1959 and he grew up watching Wilt, Russell, Big O, ect and still says Jordan is the greatest. There is a reason why Mike was the leader on the 92 dream team, not Bird or Magic!
Larry Bird: "That was God disguised as Michael Jordan". I am pretty sure Bird knew Jordan was going to end up being the GOAT after he torched one of the greatest teams of all time with 63 points.

Other players saying Jordan is the GOAT:
Charles Barkley, Danny Ainge, Kenny Smith, and Magic admitting he is the GOAT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVOUaUceEPo&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I think Ainge would know, he played with Bird.

@Christiana HAHAHA. Just stop, just stop. LeBron doesn't have to deal with handchecking, if Jordan had no hanchecking, he would be averaging over 40 a game. I would love to see LeBron try his flopping on the Bad Biys Pistons, The Celtics, 76ers, Knicks, Bulls, ect. He would of got his *** beat, 80s and 90s didn't tolerate flopping.

It all comes down to jealousy and biased intentions. There are 3 types of fans that try to take away from Jordan's greatness.

1. LeBron fans: They try to make desperate claims that Jordan isn't as "all-around" as LeBron and ride that false claim until the end of time just to prove a point that makes no sense. Why? Because LeBron grabbed more rebounds being bigger and stronger and got more assists? What happened to the fact that Jordan is a much more diverse scorer who has a much more refined post game, much better footwork, the same amount of athletic ability WITH fundamentals (unlike LeBron), better jump shooting and handling ability? What about the fact that Jordan is a better 1 on 1 defender? What about the fact that Jordan is more reliable as a performer, more clutch, and is the BEST NBA Finals performer in the history of basketball? LeBron isn't one of the greatest NBA finals performers, and Jordan is the BEST on the BIGGEST stage of them all. LeBron trumps all of that because of a couple more rebounds and assists? I think not.

2. Kobe fans: Jordan trumps Kobe in every single category, even Kobe's best attribute, scoring. Jordan as a SG actually shot over 50% before, and Kobe has never shot over 46%, yet Jordan played in a much more physical era WITH hand-checking. Jordan's playoff numbers, elimination game numbers, and NBA Finals numbers are all considerably better than Kobe's despite playing against better players in a more physical era. Where exactly is the debate in this?

3. Old school fans: The most laughable of all the Jordan haters, BY FAR. I have seen a few old school clowns make claims like the 90s were watered down, and Jordan is all hype, just because these fans simply can't admit the players they like from that era dominated a primitive, less developed, non-athletic era. The most laughable part is some of these fans will try to make claims that Wilt is the GOAT for dominating 6'6-6'8, 195-220lb centers (small forwards), and that Russell is the GOAT for getting 11 rings with the most stacked team (who completely took care of the offensive end so he could focus only on his strengths, rebounding and defense) in NBA history, with like 8 teams and a few playoff rounds. Knowing this, those type of fans BLATANTLY ignore it, and try to shove this idea down people's throats that having less teams supposedly means the competition was better. Then the most laughable part of all is they will know this, and still try to put Jordan as the 7th or 8th best player on their all-time list. It's a JOKE!

I DISLIKE Jordan. I don't think Jordan is the undisputed GOAT. Hakeem, Magic, Kareem, and Bird all have cases for GOAT. But IMO, Jordan is the GOAT (not by far like ESPN tries to make it seem), and can't go any lower than 5 on an all-time list.
___

EDIT: Notice the arguments against him have been totally biased and irrational? It's so ridiculous it's almost as if some of these people are trolling because no one can be this stupid. "A ball headed Wilkins."? Lol, ignorance is a hell of a thing man.

Michael Jordan's career without Pippen:

1-10 in playoffs

3 first round playoff LOSSES

Swept in playoffs not once, but TWICE!

Completely missed playoffs not once, but TWICE!

NOT voted to start in All Star Game (2003)

CHOKED in GAME 3 of 1986 playoffs by scoring only 5 points in the final 3 quarters

5 LOSING records (sub .500)

Led a very talented Tarheel squad to early tournament exits not once, but TWICE!

Without Pippen, MJ is a bald headed Dominique Wilkins

Larry Bird used to LOVE to play mind games with opponents. Look at what Jordan did in the very next game - on his HOME COURT ....19 points (with 5 points coming in the final 3 quarters) . That's not very God-like lol

Jordan was the most over-hyped athlete ever, in order to sell shoes to sheep like you!

Hope this helps

Jealousy is often a reason.

Others want to deny him his place because he was not on their team.

Regardless - it is settled case law - Jordan was the greatest and probably will never be surpassed.
