How do I contact the Answers police to see why my answer was deleted?

I recently had two innocuous answers deleted and immediately appealed these unreasonable decisions. It's now been well over a week and I have not had an answer from the moderators, they are quick to delete for no reason but not too quick to reinstate, are they usually like this?

Response times can vary, sometimes fast other times slow or not at all, there should be a place in the violation notification to click to appeal. When you appeal you can ask the reason for the reported violation. There is always reason, after looking at some of your current answers a suggestion, you might pay some attention to the violation, "not following the question and answer format "you must attempt to answer the question asked.

Many times questions and answers are deleted for no reason.
On the violation notice you received, you will notice on there you have the
right to appeal. I would do this. Often times, innocent items are deleted.
This is the way Yahoo operates. I've had several violations served unfairly.
Usually you never hear back from them...and have to just forget about it.
There are so many members, worldwide, Yahoo is are likely using a
"Computer Scanning Device" that searches out key words and can often
be mistaken. Usually violations are not over-turned and it will cost you another
ten points to appeal. There are many glitches and problems with the Yahoo system.

Moderators do not delete your question. It is other users, usually more than one, who report it and the computers then delete it based on the reporting record of the other reporters.

Moderators only look at appeals and they are less now as YA is trying to make money.

We can't tell why without seeing the question and answer.

the only moderators here are other users.
if you ask here, "why was this answer deleted" then give us the question and your answer...both in their entirety, word for word, we can help you.

as far as appealing to customer care - well..that group is useless. they will grant, deny or ignore your appeal and it will be based on nothing... there is no "answers police" but if you appealed thats how you "contact" them.

In the meantime, when's the last time you read the guidelines or TOS? because what you deem innocuous isn't the standard here.
