At 2500 rpm's the truck rattles like a timing chain is loose & its gonna blow up . Something's wrong and I want some advice on the best way to go about this . Truck has 266k . Will the truck blow up ? What would happen ? I already know the intake is blown & burning oil & I'm not gonna mess with anything . What would you do ?

1. A loose timing chain does not cause a vehicle to rattle.
2. Unless you run the vehicle without oil, an engine does not blow.
3. Intakes don't blown, it might have a blown gasket but that's about it
4. Burning oil could be caused by a faulty PCV valve
5. If you're not going to mess with it why are you here?

The rattling is the engine "pinging" under load due to the intake leak and possibly other vacuum leaks. Does it smoke out of the exhaust for a short while after starting? That's caused by worn valve guide seals which can be replaced while doing the intake manifold gasket. A cylinder compression test will show if the piston rings are worn.
I would fix the intake and seek out any other vacuum leaks then drive the truck until the motor is shot. Then if the truck is worth hanging onto I'd get a new long block from a rebuilder.
