How to answer a RE GCSE question?!?

So a typical Religious Education GCSE question is- 'Marriage is out of date- cohabitation is more sensible', how would I answer a question like this? If you can just show me step by step what I would have to write to answer any RE GCSE question it would help me a lot, as I'm taking a GCSE and I've never done one before. Also any advice on what GCSE questions in Geog, History, and RE are like?
Thank you in advance, no hater comments, please.

First state your opinion. For example, 'I agree with this statement'.

Then give reasons why you have this belief. For example, 'A third of marriages end in divorce, which is expensive and complicated. If you co-habit you don't need to do this'. The number of reasons you give depends on the marks allocated to the question.

After that it's a good idea to show that you understand the other side of the argument. For example, 'on the other hand studies show that children whose parents are married do better in school'.
