IO have a D in AP Econ, what do I do with my life?

The unimaginable has occurred. I recently took a test in my AP Econ class That I received a D on, and now I have a D in the class (65%). To complicate matters further, college applications are to be submitted next month. I have absolutely no idea what to do. My parents are yelling at me to drop the class and take regular econ, but I really want to try and pass this class. This is not my first AP class, I took AP Bio and AP U.S. History and passed both classes, so I am familiar with the rigors required in an AP course.So the question is whether or not to drop before the applications are due or try and fight it out.

applications tend not to look at your current grades, as long as you bring it up to something reasonable by the end of the semester you'll be allright.  I know my senior year grades didn't really end up effecting my college apps.

However, having taken all three of those APs I can say that Econ is somewhat different from Bio and APUSH.  I struggled with Bio, but I would say that econ is more conceptual then either of those.  Micro-Econ is very doable if you're not very math minded, but Macro can be very difficult (I'm talking more logic, figuring out puzzles rather then arithmetic).  The weirdest thing about Econ is that you can look over the information, think you get it and then by the next day have forgotten how you got to the right answer.  It happened to me and a good few of my friends, the only solution to that for me was just to study more.  I'd usually go over all the information at least 3 times before the test, and I got high As and a 5 so I guess it worked, but it was a time dump.
