If you repeat the same thing over & over & over again, does it make it true?

I've been voting since Reagen & have heard/seen these tactics many times but do not remember it ever working.
Are there any examples from the political arena history vault of facts that back-up the just keep repeating while actual facts do not back up what is being repeated approach has ever worked?

Todd 'What was your interpretation of Reagans policies?'
I loved them @ the time, i have worked for the same company since Reagon was in office.
But over the years there have been some things put in place by his administration that harmed the US as a whole while opening doors for others to exploit even more.

sandplant16 (don't this this newish Y format)
and we didn't find anything... we have no idea what or the amount of intel the president of the US gets thrown on their desk every day so I will just stick to the "He tried to kill my Daddy" theory

Republicans = obstruction

Repeated non stop it starts to sound true except Congress is a separate but EQUAL branch of government
So it could just as easily be said that Democrats are obstructing Republicans

Penis Cheney repeatedly said, even after the government said otherwise, that Saddam was responsible for 9/11.
To this day I still meet people that believe this to be true.

Repeating does not make it true, but it does work to make people think that it is true.

If you repeat the truth over and over, it makes you boring.

If you repeat a lie over and over it makes you an idiot because you never bothered to check.

Conservatism is based upon outright lies that are repeated until the feeble-minded believe them.
