Can Baby Platy Fry survive in a small jar? (Temp)?

My Platy are pregnant and are sdeliveringg but the other play just gobble them up, i would like to keep them but don't have room for them to survive, the breeder box i got is the most yet they still get eaten, they're going to get eaten anyway...i was going to put them in an unused jar and put an air pump in it ....i.know....there's no substitute for a tank but i have no other choice, does anyone know how i can improve this or how else i should go about it,

Well if you don't have room for them then you can get a vertical tank that is like 10+ from petsmart or petco, it barely takes up any room. If money is a problem then you can get a couple of 1 gallon tanks that are almost $12 at walmart and use that temporarily until you can get a bigger tank
