Have you viewed the CNN special "blackfish" what is your opinion?

Do you feel we have out grown our Sea Worlds and their mistreatment of orcas for revenue.

The thing about Blackfish: It was most 20-30 years ago! Captures were horrible, and I cannot express how I hate seeing that and also how they lived at Sealand in Canada. But, no where in the US captures live marine mammals of any kind. In fact, it is illegal now. As for Tilikum, and any other whale for that matter, they are treated with as much love and care as possible at SeaWorld. No, captivity is not the ocean, but looking at a timeline from when seaworld first opened 49 years ago? It has come so far. It's not perfect, but what place is? whether you are seaworld, or a local pet shelter, no where is perfect. Personally, BF did not change my mind on seaworld, and didn't change my mind to want to be a trainer (although for dolphins) :)

They need to build a Sea World with pools large enough to hold a pod of Orcas. Then they need to keep people out of the water. Some day this may be required to insure the survival of the species.

I believe that first of all there's no "mistreatment" and the Orcas might face some small implications but they have things to do and things aren't as bad as Blackfish pictures it. And yes, I have seen it.

I did not watch the movie but there are a lot of people that are saying that I should watched but I am not going to. I do not watch stuff like that. I still love seaworld and always will.
